This mixed media artwork demonstrate how life extends beyond its own subjective limits and often tell a story about the effects of global cultural influence. It challenges the binaries we continually reconstruct between Self and Other, between our own ‘cannibal’ and ‘civilized’ selves. By demonstrating a combination of street and modern art, this work emphasize the human form and implications of good and evil with a wealth of symbolic imagery. This is something I define as a neo-punk expressionism as well as a mix of street art culture and the avant-garde. These works often refer to pop and mass culture. Using written and drawn symbols, a world where lightheartedness rules and where rules are undermined is created.
This mixed media artwork involve screen printing onto paper and adding acrylic and spray colors to create striking compositions.
